LiveTime CSD recently completed Sun Microsystems Java™ Application Verification program and is now certified as “Java Powered for the Enterprise”. Also new with version 3.5 is an affordable Clustering solution which provides High Availability for larger systems.

Version 3.5 includes more than 35 new features designed to expand the breadth of the product while simplifying the user experience. Highlights include:

  • Quick Calls to allow supervisors to setup templates for common problems and solutions letting technicians quickly log cases and get faster resolutions.
  • Three levels of customization with complete support for Cascading Style Sheets level 2 (CSS2) and HTML 4 giving total control over the look and feel of the user interface.
  • Performance has been a key area of focus in v3.5 with support for connection pooling and primary and secondary caching architectures and features for ‘self-healing’ and diagnosis for complete auto-recovery under high traffic conditions.
  • IBM WebSphere and DB2 support continue LiveTime’s focus on vendor-neutrality.

First CSD to market with Sun’s Java Application Verification

With Sun’s “Java Powered for the Enterprise” certification, LiveTime CSD solutions have proven portability across different implementations of the enterprise Java platform. The Java AVK Enterprise uses guidelines and rules published by Sun to test and validate J2EE solutions and the certification confirms that LiveTime Help Desk and Support Desk are true ‘Write Once, Run Anywhere’ Java applications – the first CSD solutions to achieve this.
