Newport Beach, California - December 3, 2002 - LiveTime Software today announced the release of LiveTime Support 1.0, the first in a new suite of applications to address the burgeoning demand for Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) solutions.
LiveTime Support is an affordable Web-based technical support product delivering innovative customer support and helpdesk facilities so that small to medium enterprise (SME) technology companies can increase the effectiveness of their technical support operation, reduce costs and improve responsiveness to customer enquiries. LiveTime Support provides a comprehensive range of features out-of-the-box, with no hidden costs for essential functionality such as reporting, service level management, knowledge management and asset management. Through January 31st 2003 the company is offering introductory pricing with 5 user, single server installations available from $5,000. Key Features include:
"Designed specifically to help small and medium-sized companies streamline their support operations, LiveTime Support can be scaled to accommodate millions of users enabling growing businesses to compete with their larger counterparts," explained Dr Darren Williams CEO and President of LiveTime Software. During 2003 LiveTime will release three additional products in the suite for the BAM applications - LiveTime Orders, LiveTime Marketing and LiveTime Metrics. Considered by key analysts as the next generation of business metrics functionality, BAM is a business strategy that gives executives "instant insight" into the operating parameters of their enterprise. BAM technology collates and analyzes business information from across the enterprise and provides reports to decision makers in real time enabling them to respond rapidly to changing business conditions, such as changing sales patterns. Milind Govekar and Roy Schulte from Gartner Dataquest illustrate the significant impact BAM technology can have on an enterprise: "Speed and agility are the marks of a progressive enterprise that sees and understands clearly and quickly how its business is performing, so it can react with appropriate decisions and strategies. Although most enterprises are awash with information stored on databases and in the minds of its employees and managers, aggressive enterprises will be using business activity monitoring (BAM) to integrate and make intelligent real-time use of this information." (BAM Architecture: More Building Blocks Than You Think, 1 April 2002). Pricing and Availability: LiveTime Support 1.0 is available from today. Pricing is on a per-user basis, at US$2,000.00 per user, with a minimum 5-user installation. LiveTime Software is offering special introductory pricing which is available until January 31st 2003, with 5-user installations available for US$5,000.
